Morning at the Airport
Hello, loves! It’s Camilla here. Today, I’m off to Toronto, and I’m writing this as I wait at my gate after checking in.
The morning had its fair share of unexpected moments. At 6 a.m., the weather seemed calm when I looked out my window, but by the time I stepped outside with my luggage, there was snow and ice on the ground, along with heavy fog from the rain. Walking through the icy conditions to reach the taxi was a bit tricky, but the kind driver helped with my suitcases, which made all the difference. The airport was busy, as many travelers were likely trying to catch up after delays and cancellations from the previous day. I almost left an hour later than planned, and I am so glad I decided against it. Consider this your gentle reminder to always leave extra time when traveling, especially during the holiday season.
When I reached the check-in area, the kiosks were not working, so I had to head to the front desk for my boarding pass. Thankfully, the line moved quickly, and everything went smoothly. On a positive note, my luggage was not overweight this time, which was such a relief (especially with the heavier coats, jackets, and boots I packed).

Touched Down in Toronto
After a long day of travel, I finally made my way to the hotel, and it is truly lovely. The Christmas lights are up, and every tree is beautifully decorated. While the décor is not over the top, it strikes a perfect balance with modern and elegant style. One of my favorite features is the waterfall, which adds a serene touch to the atmosphere.
When I arrived, my mom picked me up, and we headed to the room where my little sister was waiting. I realized I had forgotten to pack my gloves, so a few hours later, we visited Mimi’s Place inside the hotel. The shop was charming, cozy, and inviting. I found a pair of chic black gloves with fur that were perfect, and we also picked up some chocolate-covered wafer bars.

Breakfast Time
I just finished breakfast with my family, and the food was lovely. I had an omelette with spinach, tomatoes, and cheese, along with a refreshing cup of mint tea to start the day. While the meal was enjoyable, there was a brief moment of unpleasantness due to some rude individuals nearby, which slightly dampened the mood. It was a reminder that the holiday season doesn’t always bring out the best in everyone.

A Festive Evening at Distillery Winter Village
Later this evening, I will be heading to the Distillery Christmas Market with my family. I am looking forward to enjoying a cup of hot chocolate while strolling through the market’s twinkling lights. I hope to see carolers as they always bring such charm to the season, and I definitely plan to stop by the Dior tree for a classic holiday photo. So far, it is lightly snowing outside, and I hope the weather stays manageable until we are back.
For the occasion, I have put together a winter look I am excited to wear: a cherry red hat, a camel brown cape with fur trim, a cream turtleneck sweater, a black leather skirt, and my Doc Martens. I am debating whether to pair it with my stitched red phone case or my neutral purple one. Either way, my cherry red leather bag is a must. It is both stylish and practical for the evening.
Moments from the Christmas Market
The market was every bit as enchanting as I had hoped. The Dior tree was breathtaking, and the dazzling lights turned the market into a winter wonderland. The snow picked up as the evening went on, and the cold was biting, but cozy indoor spots and outdoor fire pits offered some much needed warmth.

We stopped by Jardin Kitchen and Juice Bar for hot chocolate, served in bright red cups with whipped cream, which added a festive touch. For dinner, we ate at Boku, a Japanese restaurant located in the Distillery District. The dishes were flavorful and comforting, making it the perfect spot to warm up after exploring the market. Despite the packed crowd, the experience was enjoyable, and the food added a lovely ending to our festive outing. Before leaving, we took a Polaroid photo that perfectly captured the charm and joy of the night.

Christmas Eve at the CN Tower (360 Revolving restaurant)
This is an experience I have been looking forward to sharing with my family. A few years ago, I visited the one in Vancouver for my birthday. It was a memorable occasion. The chef surprised me with ice cream and cake with candles. Today, I am excited for the visit. After dining, we will visit the observation deck. I am eager to share that part of the experience. I will wear a baby blue gown. My accessories might include gold jewelry, rhinestones, or pearls.

My Experience at the Tower
Dining at the 360 Restaurant was a lovely experience, offering a perfect combination of elegance and breathtaking views. The evening began with a security check, a necessary step for all visitors to the tower, whether for sightseeing or dining. After passing through security, I climbed a series of stairs in heels, which added a bit of a challenge but felt entirely worth it for the occasion. We paused for photos in the tower before stepping into the elevator for the ascent to the restaurant, located an impressive 351 meters above the ground.
For the evening, I chose silver rhinestone jewelry and carried a white bag with an elegant circular rhinestone handle, adding just the right amount of sparkle for the festive setting. During the elevator ride, we felt a slight pressure in our ears as we rose higher. Upon entering, I was captivated by the restaurant’s stunning circular layout, designed to offer uninterrupted panoramic views of the city. We were seated in section one, where the ambiance was warm and celebratory, perfectly suited to Christmas Eve.

A special three-course menu was offered to mark the occasion, which I selected. I personally enjoyed the main course, Roast Ontario Turkey, which was beautifully prepared and accompanied by seasonal flavors that truly captured the spirit of the holiday.

I 100% want to dine at 360. I have bookmarked your page and added th erestaurant to our Spring Break itinerary.
Now THIS makes me want to visit Toronto, I once travelled to Canada in Golden october, it was scarily cold. The Christmas Market Tree looks huge and you look stunning in your dinner pic. Did you notice the tower revolving or is it slow motion?
It sounds like you had such an amazing time! I loved the tree and all the shots of just enjoying the area.
I love the way you detailed everything about your Christmas celebration. It was so warm and so beautiful!
I love how you documented everything so warmly and in detail—the cherry red hat and cape for the Christmas market is the perfect winter look! The Dior tree, hot chocolate and Polaroid’s feel like a holiday movie. Thanks for sharing this with us. Happy to be reminded to get into the holiday spirit and spend time with loved ones.
