We spent the afternoon with Quentin Cyre, who runs Sip & Anchor and was also our wonderful captain for the day. He was so well prepared and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. Even weeks before our trip, he communicated with us clearly, kindly, and patiently. He never rushed us and always made sure we felt confident about our booking. His warmth and attentiveness truly set the tone for the day.
From the moment we stepped onto the boat in our summer outfits and sandal heels, with a few extras in hand, Quentin made sure my mom and I boarded safely and comfortably. He helped us with our things, guided us on and off the boat with care, and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed. He also brought such a fun and easygoing energy that made the whole experience feel even more special.
One of the best parts of our tour was visiting Frind Estate Winery, where we were treated to the most stunning lakeside views, complete with soft blue umbrellas and peaceful scenery. My mom and I sipped red wine, enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board with cheeses, crackers, grapes, and dark chocolate, and picked up a beautifully scented candle from the shop. We cooled off with salted caramel chocolate ice cream, which was the perfect touch on a warm summer day.
The boat ride back was just as magical. We returned from the dock and continued enjoying the crystal clear waters and soft breeze as we cruised through the beautiful Okanagan Valley. The air felt fresh and calming, a peaceful escape we both truly needed. And just to show how good it was, two people actually stopped us after the tour to ask who we booked with. They wanted to schedule their own ride right away. That says everything.
